Tax Exemption Event – Terms & Conditions
Event Period:
March 26, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. – April 5, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time, Toronto)
All dates and times referenced in this promotion are based on Eastern Time (ET).
1. Overview of the Promotion
During the event period, customers who place orders on our website will receive a refund equal to the applicable sales tax charged on their purchases. The refund will be issued in the form of Store Credit after the order has been successfully delivered.
This promotion is available across the entire website unless otherwise stated.
2. How the Promotion Works
1. Customers place and pay for their orders as usual. Applicable sales taxes will be calculated and charged at checkout.
2. Once the order has been successfully delivered, we will calculate the tax amount paid on the order.
3. An equivalent amount will be issued to the customer’s account as Store Credit.
The tax-equivalent refund is applied after delivery, not at checkout.
3. Store Credit Refund Method
The refunded tax amount will be issued as Store Credit to the customer’s account.
Store Credit:
• can be used toward any future purchase on our website
• has no minimum spend requirement
• has no expiry date unless otherwise required by applicable law
• is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
• cannot be withdrawn, resold, or converted into gift cards
Store Credit will automatically be applied at checkout when available in the customer’s account.
4. Processing Time
Store Credit will be issued within 5 business days after the order is confirmed as delivered by the shipping carrier.
Customers will receive an email or account notification once the Store Credit has been added.
If Store Credit is not received within this timeframe, customers should contact customer support and provide their order number.
5. Eligibility
To qualify for the promotion:
• The order must be placed between March 26 and April 5, 2026 (ET).
• The order must be fully paid during the event period.
• The order must be successfully delivered and not refused.
This promotion applies to all products available on the website during the event period.
The following are excluded:
• shipping fees
• gift cards or other stored-value products
• taxes that are not applicable to the order
6. Returns, Cancellations, and Adjustments
If an order is cancelled, refused, or returned for a refund, the order becomes ineligible for the promotion.
If Store Credit has already been issued for such an order, we reserve the right to:
• reverse the Store Credit, or
• deduct the corresponding amount from the customer’s Store Credit balance.
For partial returns, the Store Credit will be recalculated to reflect only the tax paid on items that were kept.
7. Promotion Abuse
To ensure fairness, we reserve the right to review orders and customer accounts for suspected misuse of the promotion, including excessive returns or attempts to generate Store Credit improperly.
If abuse is detected, we may revoke Store Credit, cancel orders, or restrict access to future promotions.
8. Additional Limitations
This promotion:
• applies only to purchases made on our website during the event period
• does not apply to orders placed before or after the event period
• may not be combined with certain other discounts or promotional credits unless explicitly stated
The tax-equivalent refund applies only to taxes charged on the product subtotal.
9. Changes or Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice due to operational, legal, or technical reasons.
Updates will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon publication.
