Prep the Skin: After basic skincare (toner, serum, moisturizer, sunscreen), wait 1-2 minutes for the skincare products to absorb completely—this prevents the foundation from caking.
Shake & Activate: Before first use, gently shake the cushion case up and down 5-6 times to evenly distribute the foundation inside the sponge (for subsequent use, no need to shake unless the product has been unused for a long time).
Press & Pick Up Product: Open the case, gently press the sponge with the included puff (press lightly, do not press hard—hard pressing will take too much product, leading to heavy makeup).
Apply in Layers:
Start from the center of the face (forehead, nose, cheeks, chin)—these areas have more blemishes and need more coverage.
Pat the puff gently (do not wipe) to blend the foundation into the skin—patting helps the foundation adhere better and avoids streaks.
For areas with obvious blemishes (acne marks, dark circles), press the puff lightly 2-3 times to build coverage (avoid repeated wiping).
Set the Makeup (Optional): For oily skin or long-time makeup wear, use a small amount of loose powder to set the T-zone and chin—this enhances oil control and longevity.
Touch-Up: When touching up makeup (e.g., after work), first blot excess oil with oil-absorbing paper, then lightly press the puff on the needed areas (do not apply a new layer directly—this will cause caking).
