COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Glass Glow Hydrogel Mask is a high-performance hydrogel mask centered on "high-purity snail mucin," designed to hydrate, repair, and create a radiant "glass skin" effect. Its core features are:

1. High-Purity Snail Mucin for Repair & Hydration: Contains 96% (or high-concentration) snail mucin filtrate— a well-researched ingredient that provides intense, long-lasting hydration, repairs damaged skin barriers, and stimulates collagen production to reduce fine lines.
2. Hydrogel Material for Slow Essence Release: Made of a soft, elastic hydrogel material that fits closely to facial contours (no slipping or gaps). The hydrogel structure slowly releases the essence over 15-20 minutes, ensuring deep absorption into the skin (vs. quick evaporation of sheet masks).
3. "Glass Glow" Effect: Infused with hyaluronic acid and panthenol— hyaluronic acid plumps the skin by absorbing moisture, while panthenol enhances skin elasticity. Together, they reduce the appearance of fine lines and leave the skin with a translucent, dewy "glass glow."
4. Gentle, Minimalist Formula: Free of ethanol (harsh alcohol), synthetic fragrances, parabens, mineral oil, sulfates (SLS/SLES), and artificial colorants— tested for sensitive skin by dermatologists, making it safe for fragile or allergy-prone skin.
5. Single-Use, Hygienic Packaging: Each mask is individually packaged in a sealed pouch, ensuring hygiene and freshness (no contamination). The compact packaging is easy to carry for travel or on-the-go skincare, providing a quick hydration boost anytime.

（specific ingredients subject to product packaging; core components listed below）：
Core Repair & Hydration Ingredient:
Snail Secretion Filtrate (Snail Mucin): High-purity (96% or higher) snail mucin filtrate— rich in glycoproteins, hyaluronic acid, and peptides. It provides intense hydration, repairs damaged skin barriers, reduces inflammation, and stimulates collagen synthesis to improve skin elasticity and reduce fine lines.
Hydrating & Plumping Complex:
Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid): Multi-molecular hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin at different layers— high molecular weight forms a moisture-locking film on the surface, while low molecular weight penetrates deep to replenish inner-layer moisture, plumping the skin.
Panthenol (Vitamin B5): Converts to pantothenic acid in the skin, which enhances skin barrier function, improves moisture retention, and soothes dryness or irritation— leaves the skin soft and elastic.
Hydrogel Material:
Sodium Polyacrylate & Glycerin Blend: A safe, skin-friendly hydrogel polymer that forms the mask’s structure. It has strong water-holding capacity (retains the essence) and slowly releases the active ingredients, ensuring deep absorption. The material is soft, elastic, and non-irritating to the skin.
Soothing & Stabilizing Additives:
Allantoin: Softens the skin, promotes mild cell renewal, and soothes minor irritation or redness— enhances the mask’s repair effect on damaged skin.
Disodium EDTA: A chelating agent that prevents metal ions in water from reacting with active ingredients— maintains the stability of the formula and extends the product’s shelf life.
Citric Acid: Adjusts the pH of the formula to match the skin’s natural slightly acidic environment, reducing irritation and improving the absorption of active ingredients.
Safety & Quality Assurance:
Free of ethanol (harsh alcohol), synthetic fragrances, parabens, mineral oil, sulfates (SLS/SLES), and artificial colorants— tested for skin irritation by third-party dermatological laboratories, compliant with global skincare safety standards (e.g., EU REACH, US FDA). The snail mucin is sourced from ethical, cruelty-free suppliers.

Prep the Skin: Start with a clean, dry face— use a gentle cleanser to remove dirt, makeup residue, and excess oil. Apply a mild toner to balance skin pH and prepare the skin for better essence absorption. Pat the toner dry (avoid leaving the skin overly damp).
Open the Pouch & Unfold the Mask: Tear open the individual sealed pouch and take out the hydrogel mask. Unfold it carefully (the mask may have a protective film on one or both sides)— remove the protective film(s) before application.
Apply the Mask: Align the mask with your eyes, nose, and mouth— first press the mask onto the center of the face (cheeks, forehead), then adjust the edges to fit the jawline and chin. Smooth out any air bubbles with your fingertips to ensure full contact between the mask and skin.
Leave on & Relax: Wear the mask for 15-20 minutes (do not exceed 25 minutes, as the hydrogel may dry out and reduce efficacy). During this time, avoid talking or moving your face excessively to keep the mask in place.
Remove & Absorb: After the recommended time, gently peel off the mask from the edges (starting from the forehead down to the chin). Do not rinse your face— use your fingertips to gently massage the remaining essence into the skin until fully absorbed (this maximizes hydration and repair effects).
Follow-Up Skincare: Once the essence is absorbed, apply a moisturizer (or night cream if using at night) to lock in the moisture and nutrients. For best results, use 2-3 times weekly— avoid daily use to prevent over-hydration.
