Prep for use: Wet your face and hands with lukewarm water (avoid hot water, which may irritate acne skin). Squeeze an appropriate amount of the cleanser (about 1-2 pea-sized) onto the palm of your hand.
Lather the foam: Rub your palms together vigorously for 10-15 seconds to create a rich, dense foam. Ensure the cleanser is fully lathered—this reduces direct contact between the BP ingredient and the skin, minimizing irritation.
Cleanse the face: Gently apply the foam to your face, using light circular motions to massage the skin. Focus on acne-prone areas (e.g., T-zone, cheeks with pimples) and avoid the eye area, corners of the mouth, and broken skin (e.g., popped pimples).
Rinse thoroughly: Rinse your face with lukewarm water until all foam is completely removed—residue may cause dryness or irritation. Do not leave the foam on the face for more than 30 seconds (especially for first-time users).
Post-cleansing care: Pat your face dry with a clean, soft towel (avoid rubbing). Immediately apply a gentle, oil-free moisturizer to replenish moisture and soothe the skin. During daytime use, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF30+)—BP may increase skin sensitivity to UV rays.
Usage Note: For first-time use, start with once daily (nighttime) to test skin tolerance. Gradually increase to twice daily if no irritation occurs. Discontinue use if severe dryness, peeling, or stinging persists.
