Skin Preparation: Ensure the skin is clean and moisturized (for dry skin, apply a moisturizer or facial oil first to enhance blendability). If using over makeup, apply after foundation/concealer but before setting powder (setting powder can be applied lightly afterward to extend wear).
Dispense the product: Twist up the cheek balm slightly (only 1-2mm, to avoid over-dispensing) – a small amount is enough for one application.
Apply to cheeks:
With fingers (recommended for natural blend): Dab a small amount of the balm onto the apples of your cheeks using your ring finger (the weakest finger, for gentle application).
With a makeup sponge: Pat a small amount of the balm onto the sponge, then gently press and blend onto the cheeks (avoid wiping, which may remove foundation).
Blend immediately: Blend the balm outward toward the temples or upward toward the cheekbones quickly (creamy formulas set slightly over time, so prompt blending prevents patchiness). Build up the color gradually if a more intense look is desired.
Optional lip use: For a monochromatic look, dab a tiny amount of the balm onto the center of your lips, then use your finger to blend it outward to the lip edges (add a clear lip gloss on top for extra shine if needed).
Set (optional): For oily skin or longer wear, lightly dust a translucent setting powder over the cheeks with a fluffy brush (use a small amount to avoid dulling the dewy finish).
