• MBA Derma Scalp Intensive Serum 20ml is a professional scalp repair serum under South Korea’s MBA Derma brand, focusing on "scalp barrier repair + oil-water balance regulation" with high-concentration scalp-friendly active ingredients as the core. The 20ml compact size is designed for targeted intensive care (suitable for 2-4 weeks of use depending on frequency), targeting common scalp problems such as dryness, itching, redness, oiliness, and weakened barrier caused by factors like over-washing, chemical hair products (e.g., hair dye, perm), environmental pollution, or stress. It is a high-efficiency scalp care product suitable for most scalp types (especially sensitive scalp, oily scalp with dandruff, and dry damaged scalp).
Its core advantages lie in five key aspects: First, the "multi-dimensional scalp repair system"— it contains a blend of active ingredients that target different scalp issues: panthenol soothes irritation and repairs the scalp barrier; niacinamide regulates sebaceous gland activity to balance oil secretion; zinc pyrithione inhibits dandruff-causing fungi (Malassezia) to reduce itching and flaking. Second, "gentle and non-irritating formula"— it is free of parabens, sulfates (SLS/SLES), alcohol, synthetic fragrances, and dyes; the pH value is adjusted to match the scalp’s weak acid environment (pH 5.5-6.5), avoiding damage to the scalp barrier and ensuring compatibility with sensitive scalp. Third, "lightweight and fast-absorbing texture"— the serum is in a transparent, watery texture that spreads easily on the scalp (no greasiness), absorbs quickly (within 3-5 minutes) without leaving residue, and does not weigh down hair or affect styling. Fourth, "targeted intensive care"— the dropper packaging allows precise application to problematic areas (e.g., itchy patches, red spots), ensuring active ingredients act directly on the scalp instead of being wasted on hair strands. Fifth, "long-term scalp health maintenance"— unlike temporary anti-itch/dandruff products, it repairs the scalp’s inherent barrier function, enhancing the scalp’s self-resistance to external stimuli (e.g., pollution, temperature changes) and achieving long-term improvement in scalp health.
As a representative of MBA Derma’s "Scalp Professional Care Series", this serum is favored by consumers for its obvious repair effect, targeted application, and convenient size. It can be used as a daily scalp care product or a pre-hair-color/perm repair product to protect the scalp from chemical damage, effectively improving scalp discomfort and maintaining a healthy, balanced scalp environment.

The product adopts a professional scalp repair formula with high-concentration active ingredients, and its core raw materials include:
Scalp Barrier Repair & Soothing Ingredients:
Panthenol (Provitamin B5): A multi-functional scalp care ingredient. It penetrates the scalp’s stratum corneum to replenish moisture, soothe mild irritation (e.g., itching, redness) caused by external stimuli, and promote the synthesis of scalp keratin and lipids, thereby repairing the damaged scalp barrier and enhancing its resistance to irritation.
Centella Asiatica Extract: A natural soothing ingredient. It inhibits the release of scalp inflammatory factors (e.g., TNF-α, IL-6), reduces scalp redness and discomfort caused by over-washing or chemical products, and promotes the proliferation of scalp fibroblasts to accelerate barrier repair.
Oil Balance & Anti-Dandruff Ingredients:
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): A key ingredient for oil regulation. It regulates the activity of scalp sebaceous glands, reducing excessive oil secretion (especially for oily scalp) while increasing the scalp’s moisture retention capacity, avoiding the "oil-dry imbalance" (oily scalp but dry hair ends) problem.
Zinc Pyrithione (ZPT): A clinically proven anti-dandruff ingredient. It inhibits the growth and reproduction of Malassezia (a fungus that causes dandruff), reduces the production of dandruff-causing metabolites (e.g., oleic acid), and relieves scalp itching and flaking, achieving long-term anti-dandruff effects.
Scalp Nutrition & Moisturizing Ingredients:
Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid): A multi-molecular moisturizer. Small-molecule hyaluronic acid penetrates the deep layers of the scalp to replenish water, while large-molecule hyaluronic acid forms a protective film on the scalp surface to lock in moisture, preventing scalp dryness and tightness.
Glycerin: A classic humectant. It absorbs moisture from the air to moisturize the scalp, maintaining the scalp’s softness and elasticity, and preventing dryness-induced itching and flaking.
Mild Preservatives & Stabilizers:
Ethylhexylglycerin: A safe, low-irritation preservative. It inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold in the serum, extending the product’s shelf life; it also has a mild moisturizing effect and does not cause irritation to the scalp.
Xanthan Gum: A natural stabilizer. It maintains the uniformity of the serum (preventing ingredient separation), ensures consistent texture and absorption effect, and improves the spreadability of the serum on the scalp.
Note: For the complete and accurate list of ingredients, please refer to the "Ingredients" section on the product packaging. MBA Derma strictly selects internationally certified scalp-friendly active ingredients and mild auxiliaries, avoids adding harmful substances (e.g., sulfates, parabens, alcohol), and conducts multiple scalp sensitivity tests to ensure the product is safe, effective, and suitable for various problematic scalps.

Pre-use preparation:
Use a mild, sulfate-free shampoo to clean the scalp and hair, then towel-dry hair until it is 60-70% dry (slightly damp, not dripping)— damp scalp helps absorb active ingredients better; avoid applying the serum on dry or overly wet scalp (dry scalp reduces absorption, overly wet scalp dilutes the serum).
Taking the product (dropper application):
Open the serum bottle, take out the dropper, and suck up an appropriate amount of serum (1-2ml per use for the entire scalp; 0.5-1ml for targeted application to small problem areas). Avoid touching the dropper tip to the scalp to prevent contamination.
Applying the serum:
Whole scalp care: Part the hair into 3-4 sections (from forehead to nape) with a comb, then squeeze the dropper to apply the serum evenly on the exposed scalp along the part line. After applying all sections, use the pads of your fingertips (not nails) to gently massage the scalp in circular motions for 1-2 minutes— focus on the crown and hairline (common problem areas) to promote absorption.
Targeted care for problem areas: Directly apply the serum to itchy, red, or dry patches using the dropper, then gently press with fingertips for 30 seconds to ensure the serum penetrates.
Post-application care:
After application, do not rinse the serum off— let it absorb fully into the scalp (3-5 minutes). You can air-dry your hair naturally or use a hair dryer on low heat (keep the dryer 20-30cm away from the scalp to avoid damaging the scalp with high temperature). Do not apply styling products immediately after serum application (wait 10 minutes to prevent ingredient conflict).
Usage frequency and cycle:
Intensive repair period (severe itching/dryness/redness): Use 2-3 times a week for 2-4 weeks until symptoms improve.
Maintenance period (after symptom relief): Use 1 time a week to maintain scalp barrier health and prevent recurrence of problems.
Note: For post-hair-color/perm use, start applying 1-2 days after the treatment (avoid immediate use to prevent irritation from residual chemicals).
